Number of working days left = 10 (!)
Number of jabs this week = 5 (ouch)
Organisation = 5/10
Feeling old = 9/10
This time in two weeks we'll be 12 hours away from flying out to Mexico and starting our trip. Slightly scary considering we're still lacking on the organisational front, but we have started samba lessons!
Chilling in Crystal Palace with the dinosaurs today. Having the jabs this week and a lack of sleep has totalled me, so I've had to give in and consign myself to the sofa.
Happy Birthday Stevie and Kate P, I'm sorry I've missed both your celebrations tonight. I managed to fall asleep mid sentence talking to Malc and almost threw up on my dinner, there was a hairy moment when I thought my ageing joints wouldn't move fast enough (the dinner survived in the end), so as you can imagine I'd have been the life and soul!
My lameness coupled with the fact that I baby sat for the young lady celebrating her 18th today, when she was around 1 year old, has reminded me how rock and roll I am these days. I better up my game before we hit those samba clubs in Rio.............
given the documented history of your prowess on trains and buses. I predict you will achieve you destinations however not necessarily in the most time, fuel or cost effective manner. Good luck, I hope South America has night bus service. Dad
ReplyDeleteSafe journey and thanks for the blog roll link I shall add you to mine! Looking forward to the next post! Claire & the gang xx
ReplyDeleteP.s. Baby G just started taking independent steps - 10 is her personal best! x
well I keep checking for updates but it's like checking lottery tickets the irrational optimism of expectation replaced by the reality of disappointment:-) I know you are in Mexico and hope the lack of blogging is due to the full on must see itinerary and not cheapness of Tequila. I actually get income from my blog and mine is really dull.
ReplyDeleteUmm Papa Noel, a little more PMA please!!! xx
